The Basics: How To Cancel Your Membership At Score Sense
Score Sense is an online service that allows members to instantaneously access their credit reports from three credit reporting agencies — Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. They also inform you of any changes that occur on your credit report that may require attention, help you analyze credit actions on your report, and track results from month-to-month. You may also select identity theft insurance for up to $1,000,000 if you’re concerned about the possibility of your identity being stolen. They do allow a free trial membership for 7 days, and in the event that you decide to cancel your Score Sense membership, follow these easy steps:
- You’ll need to have your full name, complete address, date of birth, and the last 4 digit of your social security number.
- Call customer service at 1-800-972-7204 and request your membership be closed and no further billing. Customer care representatives are available seven days a week. Their phone hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 8 pm CST, Saturday 8 am to 5 pm CST, and Sunday Noon to 6 pm CST.
- If you would prefer to cancel by mail, write a letter with the same information as above and send your request to 4447 North Central Expressway, Suite 100 PMB 406, Dallas, TX 75205
Pro Tip: √ Be sure to make a note the time you called and the name of the representative you spoke to. If canceling by mail, send by certified mail with a return/receipt request. Score Sense does not allow online cancellation.
