About Life Time Fitness

A posh sports club called Life Time Fitness is well-known for its swimming pools, basketball courts, and fitness classes. They have been trying to change their image from a typical gym to an Athletic Country Club for years. You’ll discover a Kids’ Academy, a Cafe, Sauna, Hot Tubs, Pools, Basketball Courts, and Spin Studios, and some locations even offer a full Spa in addition to the standard gym features like exercise equipment. Several membership options are available from Life Time. They once had clubs at various levels, such as Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. There are now only two tiers due to a recent change in their price system. The price point establishes the two levels. Therefore you can enter any club if you pay $129 a month for your membership. At $159 a month, you can join any club at that level. The fact that the more expensive price range includes Pilates, as well as their customized Group Fitness classes like GTX, Alpha, and Ultra Fit, is another important contrast between the two pricing tiers. There are also day memberships available from Life Time starting at about $40 if you want to try it out without committing to a subscription. Children from the age of three months to preteens can play at Kids Academy while their parents exercise. Kids Academy offers a variety of structured activities for kids, including gymnastics, STEAM activities, and arts and crafts. Even older children (5 and up) will be taught how to rock climb on the climbing wall. If your child prefers free play, they also offer it. The club’s one drawback is that you have to go downstairs to change a youngster who is wearing diapers. Older children who can use the potty can use kid-friendly restrooms, but young children in diapers still need supervision. Each child must have a family Lifetime membership in order to participate in the Kids Club. Depending on where you live, the cost of a kids club membership might range from $20 to $30 per child per month. Barbell exercises are the main focus of the 45-minute Barbell Strength class. The instructor will lead you through several routines while you set up your station with different barbell weights, dumbbells, and a bench before the class starts. The trainer will provide you with a variety of options if your degree of fitness fluctuates. Based on the workouts, they will also suggest weights for various skill levels. Strength and cardio exercises are combined in the class called Shred. As many rounds as possible are completed in one minute before moving on to the next exercise in the AMRAP method, which is used for this workout. A minute of cardiac exercise comes at the end of each set of five minutes. Pool access is another outstanding Life Time perk. This site features both indoor lap pools and a family leisure pool that is available virtually all day. Pool amenities differ based on where you are. Customers appreciate being able to bring their kids to the pool whenever they like. Also, they offer life jackets, pool noodles, and other products for sale. Moreover, lifeguards are on duty. Swim classes are another option, but we’ve found that they’re hard to get into because they fill up so rapidly. Life Time also includes a cafe on the premises where you can buy wholesome drinks, meals, and snacks. Although the meals and drinks are somewhat expensive ($10 for a shake), it is a practical choice. They occasionally conduct specials where, if you purchase a mug, you can get a free coffee or tea refill for the duration of the season. Let’s start by contrasting the costs of Life Time Fitness and Planet Fitness. Lifetime Fitness is substantially more expensive than Planet Fitness. Life Time memberships start at $99, whereas Planet Fitness memberships commonly range from $10 to $25. Depending on the plan, Planet Fitness may charge different sign-up costs. While both Planet Fitness and Life Time have standard fitness equipment such as treadmills, spin bikes, ellipticals, and weights, Lifetime offers more. A lap pool, basketball courts, and racquetball courts are available at many Lifetime locations. Steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, and spa services may also be available. Life Time also has a Kids Academy where children can be cared for up to 2 12 hours per day. It is not believed that Planet Fitness currently offers childcare. Planet Fitness, on the other hand, provides some amenities that Life Time does not. There are massage chairs and tanning beds available.
