Funmatrix states that its subscription-based streaming service includes millions of movies, music, books, and gaming titles in its library. Content is accessed via software provided by the company on desktop or laptop computers as well as mobile devices and tablets. The site claims that all content is licensed and legal to distribute in this format but due to copyright and licensing restrictions, the specific content offered to each subscriber may vary based on the subscriber’s location. Funmatrix is a subscription-based service, with each subscription providing the user with unlimited access to the full library for the duration of his or her paid subscription. Subscriptions are available in three plans. A monthly subscription renews and charges every 30 days at a rate of $39.95 but may be canceled at any time desired by the subscriber with no penalty. Three-month subscriptions bill every 30 days at a rate of $16.65 per month but must be kept for a minimum of at least three months before they are eligible to be canceled. Finally, 5-month subscriptions are available which bill every 30 days at a rate of $12.99 per month. These memberships must be kept for at least the 5-month minimum subscription period before they are eligible to be canceled as well. Refunds are available in some situations and customers may choose to downgrade their account to a free membership when canceling so that they are still able to access content while being charged on a per-item basis rather than per month.
