Ask.FM is a social networking website that allows users to ask and receive questions from other members. The website was founded in 2010 by brothers, Iija and Mark Terebin. Sometime before that, Formspring was founded, and the brothers wanted to make something that would be competitive to that website. Formspring is also a question-and-answer social networking website. The parent company for Ask.FM is Noosphere Ventures. The Ask.FM headquarters are located in Riga, Latvia. The website is available to people all over the world and currently has over 215 million registered users. Ask.FM is available in over 49 languages.
You can sign up for an account on the website in under ten minutes. You will need a valid email address. Along with the email address, you will be asked to enter your full name, gender, language, and date of birth, as well as create a username and password. If you would rather sign up with your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or VK account, you can do so as well. Once you have signed up, you can create a profile. A profile will include more details about yourself, as well as a photo of yourself. If you have signed up with a third-party social networking website, your photo will be transferred over to Ask. FM. Once you are fully signed up and the profile has been created, you can ask others questions, answer questions, or even ask yourself questions. All of your questions and answers will be displayed on your profile page. You can follow other members and they can follow you back.
