FirstLeaf Wine Club was founded in 2016 by Phillip James. It is a wine delivery service. The company is headquartered in FirstLeaf, Healdsburg, CA. To date, there are over 35,000 members signed up for the company. FirstLeaf prides itself on being the first wine club that tailors to a specific members’ preferences. They partner directly with wineries and winemakers to cut out the middlemen (importers, distributors, and retailers).

New subscribers will receive an Introductory Shipment, which will include three bottles of wine which are only $5 each. This will establish the member’s taste profile because you will have a chance to rate the wines. The total cost would be $15 plus $4.95 shipping. After your introductory shipment, you will receive regular shipments. Club shipments are six bottles and are $79.95 plus $9.95 shipping. Shipments are shipped out once per month. There are some shipping restrictions, so they are unable to ship to certain states. They do not ship to Alaska, Alabama, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and Utah. They carry award-winning wines from award-winning wineries. Outside of your shipment, if you’d like another bottle of a similar wine, they also have an online store where you can place an order online. They carry red wine, white wine, and more. Some of the different varieties include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Shiraz, Zinfandel, Red Blends, Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and White Blends.
