The company’s main objection was to provide cellular insurance options to customers. The corporate headquarters are located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Customers can enroll in a Grip phone plan directly where they have purchased their device, as long as the company is an authorized dealer for Grip insurance policies. Customers can also enroll online within 30 days of purchasing their device.
The Grip Phone Protection plan will cover your device in the case of accidental damage, loss, theft, or malfunction. For malfunctions, the manufacturer’s warranty for malfunction must be expired for Grip to cover the device. If you purchase your coverage at the time of purchase, it will start immediately. If you purchase coverage within 30 days of your date of purchase, there will be a 30-day waiting period before your coverage actually starts. Plans may be paid for separate from your wireless plan billing. Monthly and annual coverage plans are available. Your premium cost is based on the device being covered and the price will vary from device to device. Coverage is transferrable and can be transferred to a newly purchased phone if a previous claim has not been already made under the coverage.
